If you know your Fenton shapes, you will be less likely to purchase a mis-labeled piece, and more likely to find a Fenton rarity!  Remember the late Tom Smith's mantra, "Know your shapes!!"

Tales From Kriner's Korner

By Carolyn Kriner

This beautiful pair of Cranberry Opalescent Drapery hurricanes, with a piecrust crimp, are one-of-a-kind!  They are 9" tall, not including the Milk Glass base.  They were made on the 'QT' by a relative of the owner, who had worked at the Fenton plant, sometime in the 1950s.

There is a connection to the article about Frank Forinash.

On the Fenton Team...

Frank Forinash

Frank Forinash, security guard at Fenton, was a man who wore many hats.  One of Frank's jobs was checking departing employees to make sure that they're not removing anything unauthorized from the plant.
