The 'Patches' design was suggested by Roxanne and Les Rowe, and created by CC Hardman, to be used on a series of Burmese figurines. After the Fenton Company ceased production, the NFGS could no longer acquire a quantity of Burmese critters. It was decided to use the pattern on assorted colors of the NFGS mouse, coordinating the color of the patches with the color of the glass. To date, all the glass colors have been satinized. This collection is being to be used to help support the Mould Fund, with $30 of the price of each mouse going for that purpose. The Mould Fund is used to pay for storage, repair and maintenance of NFGS moulds, and purchase moulds that may become available in the future.
